Every time I go out with friends and it is time to pay, their hands get arthritis. I end up with the check. We as humans like to be in the company of others. Everyone has a different definition of companionship. I usually like to sit and talk over a meal.
People love to go out with friends all the time. It is just that the people that go out like to ride the wave of free loaders. I have gone out so many times with friends. When it is time to pay the check they head for the toilet or look like they are making a phone call. My parents raised me so that if I do not have any money in my pocket, I should not go out. If your friends happen to pick up the check, make an offer to split it, or make sure you pick up the check at another time. Free loaders are not liked by many people because they feel exploited.
From a very young age, I learned that money is a necessary evil. It makes acquiring different things easier and life much happier. People either do not have money or do not want to spend theirs. This is when the problems begin. Back in kindergarten, there was a child that would ask if I had a dime (ten cents) to give him. This person that would ask for that petty money grew up asking for larger amounts through the years. Today he is prison for a greater crime.
Money does not make real friends. In the long run asking for loans from friends becomes uncomfortable and a nuisance. If anyone needs a loan they should go to a bank. People ask for money from friends and promise to pay it back at a certain time but they do not come through on their word now it becomes a problem.
Everyone should be equal to each other person and among friends no one should have more privileges than another. There is no reason anyone should feel used or exploited because their friends are looking to get over on them. People are all equal and one is not more privileged than the other. Everybody works and lives more or less in the same fashion.
If you want to keep going out, bring you wallet!!!
