The words Please and Thank You have the ability to open many doors to all the people that use them. When I look at everyday behavior of people in society, these word are very seldom used. I walk into a local market and make a purchase, give my money to the clerk they give me my receipt and that is it. Where is my thank you for coming into the store to buy something and not going somewhere else to spend money. Entitlement is is what I see in many people today and it is very wrong and a key reason society is the way it is, upside down.
Today, people are educated more than the past generations and there is more money flowing in the economy than before but manners have gone down the drain. When I hear the humble words Thank You, I feel appreciated and want to return to this person at the particular establishment. Remember, money does not buy class and a nice expensive suit does not make the man. If you put a suit on a monkey, it is still a monkey.
Do not forget to use the magic words that should have been taught as a toddler and society will become a better one.
