Do not buy if you can not afford all the rest....

A friend of mine goes on a date.  It was nothing out of the ordinary except that she is a tall woman with long blond hair and and slender physique, hugely pretty.  She is asked out by this gentleman and they go to a very high end eating establishment.  Before the go in, he tells my friend that he is not  too hungry and that they should share an appetizer.  Hey!  this is how it is, if you can not afford it then you should not be going here.  If you want to be with someone that will elevate your stature, then this want is going to cost you and you should not be thinking about the "how much".  Instead you should be saying, "I am a lucky dog....uh-huh!"

When you close your eyes it all looks and feels the same.  If you want to keep your eyes open than my friend open your wallet and do not be afraid to spend.
We must never forget this great universal saying,  "money talks and bull-shit walks".
You drive a late luxury vehicle and you are dressed to the nine's.  You need to park and instead of pulling into a lot near the venue you have to be, you circle around looking for a cheap or free spot.  The dealer did not tell his customer that when they make a luxury purchase they should get into this mentality.  Luxury items need special pampering and better than usual maintenance.  Cheapskates should be barred from owning or even frequenting in places classified as luxury of exquisite quality.  Every single day I see vehicles being towed because they parked in the wrong spot not to pay for parking.
In the same way a person gets a pet but they do not realize that the pet needs care, love, food water and a bath and cleaning up after.  Everything in life has costs, both fixed and variable.
Remember if you cannot  afford the upkeep then by the cheaper model.

Warm weather satisfaction

When I take trips to places with warmer climates my body feels much better than when I am in the cold damp places. Warm weather is better all around. A person eats less, dresses lighter and drinks more in the warm weather.
When it is to hot people request air-conditioning and when it is too cold, with the same vigor, request that the heat be turned up.  For the past few years I have developed sciatica and this during cold damp weather  makes me feel "loopy" and tired.

Complicated....

When you work for a big corporation, there many people around you and all of them have characters that are simple easygoing. Others have complicated and overly sensitive personalities.  You are at your desk doing the job you were hired for but the are are employees above and below you.  The institution you work for has instituted certain policies and certain rules.  Each and every employee is to follow and should not be exempt from said rules if it is to thrive in the long run.
Rules are rules!  They exist so that there is an order and that every thing and every person does not collide with each other.   In a "free market economy", maximum out can be and is allowed ass long as it is done within the realms of the law and the outline set out by the company.
Everywhere you go some one's feelings are hurt or their plans are thrown off course.  There is a reason for rules and outlines and policies and plans.  The reason is for everyone and everything to coexist without friction.  What strikes me as being funny is that those people that make the rules and policies have the distinct notion that they are exempt  from them.  Examples of this are found in every sector of society.
We example of "do as I say not as I do" in religion (priests involved in cases of abuse both sexual and financial).  In civil service some one needs something done and offers or accepts a bribe for special treatment.  In hospitals, certain executive elect special treatment because they are in a position of leadership.  If their shenanigans  are intercepted and by an unknowing lower manager, just following policy the axe falls.  This incorrect rules are and should be for everyone and no one should be scorned or prosecuted for following the rules.  The whole world is in a mess because certain people follow the laws and other think they should be exempt.
I SAY NO! NO! NO! NO!
If its good for the Goose it is good for the gander!

Companion....

A companion is some that is with another person.  Men and women are looking for companions every second of life.  People like to be on their own but they also crave to be with others for interaction.  There have been many songs written about everybody needing somebody, either to love or be with .  In my life experience I often come to the conclusion that people whether they are male or female we all have baggage that we carry from one relationship to the other.
The key is to find the companion that is the least headache to be with.  We are all headaches, some more the others.  Whenever I am behind the bar people come and go.  There has yet to be a time where a person that walks in with someone is happy with who they are with.  Life is simple, people with their quirks make it complicated.
The too-too good and the too-too bad, do not always last too-too long.  A man and a woman  walk in to my bar initially they are all over each other and all of a sudden they are at each other with accusations.  Drinks are spilling and slaps are flying.  Life is too short for drama.  Close the lights it is all the same.  With society advancing more and more life is supposed to be simpler but is not.  We are able cross all barriers withe use of the internet and are demands become greater for essentially the same results.  Human needs are basic and should stay as such. Food, drink, clothing, housing, entertainment, transportation and sexual stimulation.  With in these boundaries everything is relevant  and available.

Baked potatoes............Delicious and Nutritious.

I like variety in every part of my life.  This may seem hypocritical but I am also not in favor of surprises.  Last Sunday I went shopping.  Among the many items I purchased, there was a bag of Idaho  baking potatoes.  It has been a long time since I have russets so big.
These giant potatoes that I have contain a huge amount of potassium, about a quarter of what is required by the human body to run efficiently.  The potato itself has almost no fat.  When we choose to put butter, margarine, or sour cream on the potato then it is loaded with extra fat and calories.   The potato itself with a little salt and pepper is a perfect all-around-food at any time.  This past week I have been having the giant potatoes for breakfast.  When I eat one potato at about 5 am I feel full until about 11:30 am.  It actually holds my cravings for a long while.   With the proper seasoning the Idaho potato is hearty enough to keep me from being hungry soon.
If I decide the potato could  be my main dish or the side.   The potato as a entree could be loaded with bacon, mushrooms,  scallions, and even cheddar cheese.  Breakfast, lunch or dinner the Idaho potato is a power food and is to be enjoyed as such.  It is yummy on its own or serve with a steak or burger or even seafood.  Filling nutritious and delicious the giant potato is perfect.
When I wake up in the morning or whenever I am in the mood for a baked potato I rinse the potato to be eaten and salt the outside and place in the microwave oven for about 12 to 15 minutes on high, until it is squeezable.  Then I cut the potato in half the long way and drop my desired toppings over the two halves.  The potato comes out of the microwave oven steaming hot and the different flavors are intermingled wonderfully in the steam.

Yummy for your tummy!!!

Who wears the pants?

In today's time who wears the pants in the family does not really matter, as long as the decisions made are for the greater good.  It is of no use to be a leader that is hated and constantly loosing ground.  Wearing the pants does not make a person any smarter or powerful.  With the advent of technology a person does not have to be dress at all to make any sort of decisions.
There are many head of households that choose not to wear trousers but this fact does not make them any less of a man.  Many great warriors of the world wore skirts or kilts or togas, this practice did not detract from their manhood or ability to lead successfully.
The other day a friend of mine throw a jab in by saying, "we know who wears the pants in your family".  To me it does not matter who is on top.  What does matter is the out come and how much I looking to benefit.  Life is short as it stands and if I can enjoy more of it without sweating or thinking, then I am all for the idea of not wearing the "pants".  If I can lead a life of leisure and someone else is to hit the pavement  for a living then "by all means"no pants for me.
Women are complaining constantly that they are getting the shorter end of the stick.  What they really do not understand is that they actually have more power.  In an argument with three people and one happens to be a woman.  The lady calls the police and when the arrive, the two men are cuffed as the woman makes accusations.  The moral of the story if a lady calls the police about a man, the man is in more trouble than the woman.
It does not matter who wears the pants.
What does matter is who gets arrested.
